Redemption Rules

This screen allows System Admins to view the available loyalty redemption rules and add or modify a redemption rule.

The screen can be accessed by selecting the Redemption Rules link under the Loyalty Admin menu in the navbar.

The default screen of Redemption Rules screens looks as below:

When clicked on Show Filters link the screen displays as follows and

The screen contains the following elements:

Redemption Rules

  1. A Hide Filters link that will hide the available screen filters
  2. Available filter dropdowns
  3. Reset button to reset the filters to their default values
  4. Filter button to filter the on-screen data based on the selected filter values
  5. A dropdown to change the number of rows displayed in the table
  6. A dynamic search box that will show rows matching the user-entered criteria
  7. Table containing the information of the available redemption rules
  8. Rule — A link that wiil take the user to the Edit Redemption Rule screen to update the rule
  9. Action — A dropdown to perform actions on the redemption rules for each redemption rule row
  10. A pager to go between pages in case there are more rows than what will fit on the screen
  11. Add — Button that will allow the user to add/create a new Redemption rule

Note

The information icon of a Redemption Rule in a row displays the description of the rule when clicked.

Actions

Redemption Rules can be disabled or cloned by selecting the Action dropdown of a rule row. Action dropdown of a Rule which is Active contains following elements:

  1. Disable — Button to disable the Redemption rule
  2. Clone Rule — Button when clicked takes the user to the Clone Redemption Rule screen

Disable Redemption Rule

The Redemption rule can be disabled by selecting Disable button in the Action dropdown of that rule row, when clicked the rule gets disabled and a message gets displayed in the screen as follows:

Clone Redemption Rule

A new Redemption Rule can be added by cloning existing redemption rule. This can be done by selecting Clone Rule in the Action dropdown of the rule row.

The screen looks and behaves very similar to that of Add Redemption Rule screen with the exception that some fields are auto-filled with Original rule's information.

Clicking upon Save button a new Redemption rule is added and a message gets displayed as follows in the Redemption Rules screen.

Enable Redemption Rule

Disabled Redemption Rules can be enabled. The Action dropdown of a rule row with Disabled status looks as follows:

By clicking Enable option in the Action dropdown, the rule can be enabled and becomes Active again and a message gets displayed in the Redemption Rules screen as follows:
