Channel Summary

The Channel Summary screen can be accessed by selecting Channel Summary from the Manage Admin menu on the navbar.
This screen allows a System Admin to view all available Channels and to add, delete, clone or modify a Channel.

The default screen of Channel Summary looks as follows:

When clicked on Show Filters link the screen displays as below and

The screen contains the following elements:

Channel Summary

  1. A Hide Filters link that will hide the available screen filters
  2. Available filter dropdowns — Channel Status, Industry Type, and Merchnat Name
  3. Reset button to reset the filter to its default value
  4. Filter button to filter the on-screen data based on the selected filter value
  5. A dropdown to change the number of rows displayed in the table
  6. A dynamic search box that will show rows matching the user-entered criteria
  7. Table containing the information of the available Channels
  8. Name — A link that will take the Admin user to Edit Channel screen for the selected Channel
  9. Action — dropdown to delete or clone a Channel
  10. A pager to go between pages in case there are more rows than what will fit on the screen
  11. Add — Button that will take the system Admin to Add Channel screen to create new Channel

Note

Merchant Name filter drop-down and column will be hidden if the user is logged in as Merchant Admin role.

Actions

A Channel can be deleted by selecting Delete button from the Action dropdown of a Channel row in the Channel Summary screen.

When clicked upon Delete button in the drop-down, a popup appears to confirm the deletion.

Clicking upon on No in the popup closes the popup and the deletion process will be canceled. Clicking upon Yes in the popup deleted the channel and a success message appears as follows:

The deleted Channels can only be viewed and cannot be modified, when clicked on the Name link, View Channel screen appears in a disabled state.

There will be no Action button for the Channels which have been deleted, means a Channel once deleted cannot be restored.

Clone Channel screen can be accessed by selecting Clone from the Action dropdown in the Channel Summary screen.

Channel Summary

The screen looks very similar to the Add Channel screen with the exception that the Payment Methods are assigned with the Original Channel's Payment methods from which it is cloned.
The user has to enter the value in the Channel Name field.

Clone Channel

After the required fields are filled out, clicking upon Save button a new Channel is created by cloning the existing one and a success message gets displayed in the Channel Summary screen.
