eDynamo Change Of Currency

We can support different Currencies with eDynamo devices for Card Present transactions.

The following are the steps to change the currency configuration for eDynamo devices.

First we need to install Magtek Reader Configuration Program. Click here to Download

Once downloaded, you will run this app (with the reader/device connected via USB).

Connect your eDynamo device to the machine or laptop.

Now run the app that has been installed.

Click on Public Account.

Once your device which is connected to your machine is identified, the device list shows up with the connected device.

Now select EMV tab.

Select Change Tags

Select the respective currency's .xml file.

Canadian Dollar Tag File: Click to Download

Dominican Peso Tag File: Click to Download

US Dollar Tag File: Click to Download

Mexican Peso Tag File: Click to Download

The EMV Tags gets uploaded and the progress bar can be seen in the app.

Once the file is uploaded successfully, a message can be seen that the EMV Tag Update successful.

Finally, you can unplug and plug the device back to your machine and your edynamo device is ready to go with the needed currency.
