Credit Card

Payments can be made via Credit card and the process of making a payment is as follows.

The Payer Information section of the Make A Payment screen for a credit card payment contains the following elements:

  1. Payment Method — Credit Card for a credit card payment
  2. Card Type — The type of credit card being used for the payment
  3. Name On Card — The cardholder's name
  4. Card Number — The full number on the front of the credit card
  5. Expiration Month/Year — The expiration date (2-digit month and year) of the credit card
  6. Card Security Code — The 3- or 4-digit code on the back of the card
  7. Eye and information icons — to unmask the security code field value and to display card security code information text

Filling in all the required fields and Clicking upon the Review button, the user is taken to the Review Payment page with all the values preserved.

Review Payment

The Review payment screen looks exactly like the Make A Payment screen with the following exceptions:

  • All fields are disabled
  • Payment Authorization statement displays for all Payments
  • The buttons change from Cancel and Review to Edit, Reset and Confirm.

Confirm & Save will also display only for Payments made via Chase Paymentech, otherwise it will be hidden. Clicking on Confirm & Save button the user confirms the Payment and the card is saved for the future use.
Clicking the Edit button will take the user back to the Make A Payment screen so that the payment details can be modified. All user-entered data will be preserved so that the user will not have to start over.

Clicking the Confirm button will submit the final payment information and the page looks as below:

For Cybersource Payments an additional Authorization consent agreement checkbox for saving the card or account to the user's account and Save Card Button, which is disabled by default and gets enabled when the user checks/selects the checkbox are displayed.

Note

  1. Authorization consent agreement checkbox and Save Card button won't be displayed if Payment Tokenization is disabled at the Merchant level and also if the Payments are made via Chase Paymentech.
  2. Void and Capture won't display for the transactions made via SALE.

Clicking upon the Authorization Consent link will pop up the terms and conditions of saving a card or account for use in future payments.

Clicking upon the Confirm & Save button, the card is saved for future use.

Note

Signature box will be displayed or hidden based on the merchant settings.
