EMV Contactless Payments

*The application is supported on Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera on Windows Operating System and Safari on MacOS.

Note

Before Proceeding with the payments the following package from magtek needs to be downloaded.
Magtek DynaPro Go Software Package from Magtek Software Packages.

In order to make a payment using a Card present Terminal, the user will need to log in and select Payments → Make A Payment from the navbar.

The only difference in the screen will be that a "Card Present" radio button will display.

Apart from the Magnetic Stripe, the user can also make payments with EMV/chip cards.

EMV Contactless Payments

When the user selects Card Present and a terminal under the Terminal drop-down, selecting upon the EMV Contactless option, the user will be prompted to Present/tap the card. The screen looks as follows.

Once the user presents the card to the terminal, the card data is read and is displayed in the appropriate fields as below.

Filling in all the required fields, the make a payment page looks as follows:

To complete the EMV payment

  1. Click the Review button to go to the Review Payment screen.
  2. Review the payment; click Modify to go back to the Make A Payment screen or click Reset to reset the data and go to the default screen.
  3. Click the Confirm button on the Review payment screen.
  4. Click Confirm & Save to save the card for future use
